Typical Role Descriptions

Support

Chetna support staff are extremely important, integral members of the team and are expected to play a role in client satisfaction and the transformative process. Support staff are a first point of contact for Chetna clients, create better flow of resources and information within the firm, and assist in a substantive way to facilitate our work.

Analyst

The analyst role at Chetna is an entry level position for undergraduate or graduate degree holders with limited employment experience. Considerable training and development opportunities are presented to our analysts. Chetna analyst level consultants are expected to play critical roles on client projects as they learn Chetna processes and methodologies. The analyst can also contribute and be rewarded for developing Chetna clientele. An analyst role generally lasts for two to three years.

Consultant/Associate

The consultant plays a leadership role, managing client engagements as the primary Chetna contact, and reporting to senior Chetna personnel. Development is critical for the consultant to retain their expertise. Thes consultant is also responsible to develop clientele within a particular Chetna consulting stream, while drawing on the entire team’s collective skill set. The consultant role is a progression target for analysts as well as for those entering the company with atleast five years working experience.

Senior Consultant

The senior consultant role reflects a leadership role within a particular sector of cluster of related sectors. Specialized expertise, advanced leadership skills and a recognized impact within the field characterize this role. The senior consultant is responsible for leadership concerning a portfolio of client projects and recruits client partnerships across consulting streams.

Director/Vice-President

A senior leadership role within Chetna, the Director shapes and develops new methodologies and service offerings, is instrumental in developing client partnerships and alliances and mentoring other personnel. Senior leaders generally lead a particular consulting stream or head up branch offices.
